Alison Vina, director of Book of My Life

We Care About the Details

Alison Vina established Book of My Life in 2007 and has since produced dozens of biographies for people across the UK. Past clients include the late Frank True, businessman and founder of the Luncheon Vouchers Company; Graham Walker, businessman and yachtsman who led a bid for the America’s Cup in 1986; and singer Elizabeth Osborn. But she is interested in every life story, not just those of the successful or the famous:

“The past may be a foreign country, but its citizens are really just like us,” says Alison. “I love finding out about the lives of people whose hopes and dreams were similar to mine but who faced different challenges because of the time in which they were born.”

Alison has a degree in English literature and has worked as a writer for nearly 20 years for publishers including the BBC and Egmont. She is the author of several published short stories for children. Alison works with experienced writers, editors and designers to produce books of the highest quality for Book of My Life’s clients.
