‘Excellent. We started this project just after my Mum’s death. In part it was to give my Dad a positive focus. He had spent a lifetime collecting info on the family and just didn’t know what to do with it. BomL tactfully nudged our thinking away from creating a ‘factual account’ toward selling ‘their story’ — a love story. They started by interviewing those involved and collecting incidents and memories, and used these to craft a wonderfully readable story, illustrated by selected items from the papers and photos that had been collected. Dad died before it was finished but the end result told their story — something that has been shared with the whole family’
